RE: how to see signal strength on devices and enter service mode?
Dear Molino,
I can not really recommend to use such aerosol sprays. After use there will likely remain a thin smudge layer on the optical devices of the smoke detector. This smudge can seriously lead to malfunctions. The smoke detectors for use in homes according DIN 14604 have to be equipped with a self test function (just a button). This function is sufficant for the test procedure. All detectors of the 8000 system can be tested in the service mode. Just activate the remote display by opening it, than open the device to activate it for the test mode. Now test it. Dipl. Ing. Stefan Brandt, Oberhausen, info@heimtek.de, www.heimtek.de |
