Hi Jason,
the title line suggest your native language is Danish, right ? The translation to German is a tough cookie to understand. Would English be Ok for you to communicate ?

* If the battery fuse is blown, there should be a permanent alarm on the control panel.

* Is the message "Bad Checksum" ? If so, there was most likely a "Control unit memory corrupted" !

* 083 and parameter 08 resetting the system to 'square one' seems to be pretty strange and points to a major malfunction connected to the checksum problem.

Question is, is it really a 'reset' like battery and power off, bridging the 'NVM RST' pins, connecting battery next, bridging 'kick start' pins and connect to power with A-L-L setup values lost ?

* I didn't quite understand the 24 month and asking question. Probably - recorded error will stay forever in the log ? It's not possible to delete entries - to my knowledge .

* Last - new main board. You might not be able to purchase a board straight from Abus but via your dealer.
